• We Can Do Hard Things with Glennon Doyle

Glennon Doyle is the smart, funny, and incredibly talented co-host of the popular podcast Smart Women, Cancer. (It’s a lot of things, but “smart, funny, and talented” should be in the description!) You might know Doyle from her work in the Internet of Things, where she is the founder of PureHacks.

• Cancelled with Tana Mongeau

In this podcast, Tana Mongeau has a conversation with people that have been cancelled by TLC, which is a network that has a history of cancelling shows about women and families. We have not heard any of these people on television, but we would want to be like them if we did.

• Morbid: A True Crime Podcast

The first episode of Morbid, a podcast that examines the dark side of humanity, recently aired on Apple Podcasts. The show is hosted by filmmaker and writer Jacob Gentry, who you may know from his earlier podcast and video series, Crime, and Punishment (which ended in 2014).  The best way to describe Morbid is by saying it is a dark and harrowing journey into the life of sociopaths.

Apple has released a slew of new products and services this year, but the most exciting news was that the company finally launched its very own podcasting platform. This means you can now subscribe to thousands of shows from a number of sources for free, and now more than 300,000 Apple Podcast and iTunes U users are listening to podcasts right now. So, is there anything else you can get from Apple Podcasts?
